We are sorry to hear something has gone wrong with your water cooler. Please read through the checks below to get your machine up and running again.

Is anything floating in the bottle?

You may find a blue valve floating in the bottle. If you do see a blue valve, the bottle is faulty and will need removing and replacing (you will need 2 people to remove the bottle, 1 person to lift the bottle and the other to place their hand underneath the bottle as it is lifted to ensure minimum leakage).

Are there any holes or cracks in the water bottle?

If yes, the bottle is faulty and will need removing and replacing (you will need 2 people to remove the bottle, 1 person to lift the bottle and the other to place their hand underneath the bottle as it is lifted to ensure minimum leakage)

Is there anything leaking from the taps?

If yes and your cooler is a bottle-fed glacier, the taps can be turned clockwise gently where the lever connects to the top of the tap. This will tighten the tap back up and, on most occasions, will stop the leak. If your cooler is not a bottle-fed glacier the machine will need to be isolated using the steps below.

Is the drip tray full?

If yes, gently remove the drip tray and empty it into the nearest sink, being careful to not spill any water.

Isolating a Bottled Machine

  1. Remove the bottle of water. (If the blue valve is floating in the bottle you will need 2 people to remove the bottle, 1 person to lift the bottle and the other to place their hand underneath the bottle as it is lifted to ensure minimum leakage).
  2. Drain the taps until the internal tank is empty (open the taps as if you were dispensing cups of water until nothing else will come out).
  3. Switch the machine off at the plug until the engineer arrives.

If you’ve followed these steps and are still experiencing issues, please get in touch with our team for help from one of our experts.

We are sorry to hear something has gone wrong with your water cooler. Please read through the checks below to get your machine up and running again.

Initial Checks:

  1. Double-check that the machine is plugged in and switched on.
  2. Check that the machine has not been overused. The machine may need time to re-chill if it has a high usage volume.

If the above hasn’t resolved the issue, the following steps can be undertaken:

  1. Switch the power off at the wall and safely remove the plug.
  2. You will then need to disconnect the power lead located at the bottom of the unit (usually found on the bottom left-hand side).
  3. Reconnect all leads and ensure that the power lead at the back of the unit is firmly in place as this can sometimes come loose.
  4. Leave the cooler for 30-45 minutes for the tank to re-chill.

If you’ve followed these steps and are still experiencing issues, please get in touch with our team for help from one of our experts.

We are sorry to hear something has gone wrong with your water cooler. Please read through the checks below to get your machine up and running again.

  1. Remove the bottle. Before removing, check that the blue valve on the bottle is not floating in the water. If it is, you will need 2 people to remove the bottle, 1 person to lift the bottle and the other to place their hand underneath the bottle as it is lifted to ensure minimum leakage.
  2. Once the bottle is removed, dry it around the neck of the machine with a cloth or towel to rid of any excess water.
  3. Drain the taps until the internal tank is empty (open the taps as if you were dispensing cups of water until nothing else will come out)
  4. Once the above is complete, replace the bottle on the unit and leave to chill/reheat for 30-45 minutes. (If the blue valve is floating in the water, you will need to use a fresh bottle of water.)

If you’ve followed these steps and are still experiencing issues, please get in touch with our team for help from one of our experts.

If it is not in line, you can gently turn the valve until it is in line, you should then start to hear water filling the machine.

Note: If the machine in question is Glacier or Everest machine, there is an additional check that can be carried out. Lift the lid on the unit and locate a switch.
